JOB SUMMARY
The Human Resources Generalist plays a hands-on role providing support to our HR team at Elevate Aircraft Seating and our employees. The HR Generalist will perform a variety of HR tasks, including full-cycle recruiting, conducting new hire orientation and onboarding, employee relations, maintaining the integrity of our HR database for compliance, and performance management. The HR Generalist will support employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and passionate about making things better for our organization and employees.
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

- Provide guidance and support to the HR Coordinator in managing HR administrative tasks and processes
- Maintain the HRIS system, including data management, system updates, and troubleshooting issues
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for employee inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage new hire and termination processes including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Partner with HR Coordinator to ensure completion of new hire and exit paperwork and disseminates appropriate information to Payroll, Security, and IT
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing employee engagement, improving processes, and driving organizational effectiveness
- Assist with the Annual Performance Process and advise employees on process and follow up
- Interpret company policies, coach, and counsel employees as required to ensure clear communication and a thorough understanding of the company’s corrective action policies and procedures
- Partner with the Senior Manager of Human Resources to investigate employee relations issues, such as working conditions, employee grievances, disciplinaries, and unemployment insurance claims
- Ensure accurate processing of timecards and maintain records of employee attendance and absences
- Process and track PTO requests, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations
- Stay updated on relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Provide various tracking and reporting as requested by our HR Leaders
- Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs including leave of absence processing, workers’ compensation coordination, and routine benefits-related administrative tasks.

- Maintain a safe, secure and legal work environment, adhering to all Company policies and procedures.
- Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business or organizational behavior or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience required
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, with a focus on HR operations and administration
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to deliver group presentations
- Ability to effectively interface with all levels of staff and management
- Ability to review and process sensitive material with complete confidentiality
- Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment laws
- Ability to take ownership and want to improve processes to take things to the next level
- Embody a student mentality

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Elevate Aircraft Seating offers competitive wages and benefits to recognize employees for their work. The base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.
Salary Range Transparency: $75,000 - $100,000 annually
