JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for testing, inspecting, and documenting the inspection of electrical components or assemblies used in the manufacturing of aircraft interior parts at all stages of the production process. This position must be able to use Electrical standard measuring equipment such as Ohm Meter, Power supply, Multimeter, and hypot diletric.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience
- Interprets and reads engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, customer, and company specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing.
- Inspects, tests, and documents the incoming receiving testing of purchased electrical parts or components used in aircraft interior assemblies. Testing for defects such as assembly, soldering, crimping, wires, stripping, and bonding.
- Able to write inspection reports and non-conformance reports.
- Ensures quality standards are understood and maintained.
- Documents the testing or aircraft interior electrical products and components at various stages of production for dimensional, electrical, and mechanical characteristics.
- Inspects and calibrates precision measuring equipment used to measure electrical characteristics using NIST traceable calibration standards.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues while performing electrical testing.
- Ability to problem solve issues while performing inspections and communicate with other team members and production.
- Inspects and documents electrical products for proper packaging for shipment.
- Travel as required to support suppliers or source/auditing inspection program
Education:
- A High School Diploma is required.
- A two-year college (Associate Degree), Trade/Technical School or certification is desired.
Experience:
- A minimum of 1-5 years of direct experience.
Skills:
- Microsoft office applications
- Basic math
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
Other:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
