This is an on-site role and you must live in or be willing to relocate to Southern California. JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager Facilities oversees building operations, maintenance, regulatory compliance, and safety initiatives for multiple locations. This position leads Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) activities, ensuring our compliance. This position plays a key role in embracing and supporting the community and culture of our Manufacturing sites. The Senior Manager Facilities is responsible for manages facility planning, construction, and HSE improvement plans. The position will oversee facilities in Huntington Beach (HB1 and HB2) and Santa Maria (CC), California.

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES - Essential Functions (Other duties and projects may be assigned or requested.)

  • Full on-site oversight of facilities operations and services in leased offices.
  • Accomplish company objectives by establishing facility plans, budgets, and ensuring efficient operations.
  • Plan and strategize for facility growth and capital needs, define scope of work for new buildouts, expansion, renovation projects to deliver best in class workplace.
  • Track budgets and performance to plan associated with Facilities OpEx annual budgets, forecasting, and CapEx planning. Control labor costs and expenses effectively.
  • Coordinate office requirements for space planning, furniture, IT, and Security.
  • Develop strong relationships with building property management companies and vendors.
  • Lead site resiliency planning and execution along with support to business critical/emergency situations to ensure minimum disruption to the business. Partner with Ops leadership to develop business continuity plans.
  • Manage and perform maintenance, repair, installation, and construction tasks ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Manage and enforce safety procedures for a healthy work environment.
  • Implement HSE initiatives, conduct HSE audits and inspections, deliver HSE reporting punctually.
  • Investigate accidents to identify root causes.
  • Review and monitor corrective and preventive actions, create and execute local HSE improvement plans.
  • Advise and support management and operational staff on HSE matters.
  • Oversee incident investigations and closure of corrective actions.
  • Provide data for HSE reporting, support all required HSE initiatives.
  • Monitor and apply regulatory provisions and legal requirements.
  • Enforce policies, standards, and objectives.
  • Lead Maintenance, EH&S and Office Manager staff, including evaluations, coaching, and corrective actions. Optimize performance through effective personnel supervision.
  • Maintain and protect the confidentiality of the Company’s information and products.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
  • Bachelor’s degree with focus in business, facilities management, engineering, construction/project management, real estate, or property management is preferred.

Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in facility management, health and safety, or a related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Skills:

  • Problem solving/analysis, leadership, teamwork orientation, project/budgetary management, communication proficiency, performance management, technical capacity.
  • 5+ years of Lean and Six-Sigma training & implementation in factory environment

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience with building code and regulatory compliance management.
  • Demonstrated of handling high level communication with leadership and heads of office
  • Strong relationship management experience
  • Strength in negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating System
  • Experience in implementing Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Travel to multiple sites is required.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

Salary Range Transparency: $140,000- $160,000 annually, depending on candidate qualifications
